Moving to New Orleans LaunchPad Program Details
The Moving to New Orleans LaunchPad is a support program for new and hopeful residents of New Orleans looking for a fresh start in the city. Reserve your safe, affordable home in New Orleans in ADVANCE so that your move to our city is seamless. Take it easy while you explore the city, search for employment and we will even help you find your next home.
Rentals will be assessed on a case by case basis after the listing application is completed. Our rentals earn owners between $3000 and $5000 for the 2 month short term rental. are for people who are vetted and eager to move to New Orleans so they will take care of your home like it is theirs.
If you want to take a break from turnovers of AirBNB, list your rental with us and update your availability and we will announce it to our wait list. The first person to respond will take your short term rental and you will receive the earnings up to one week before the rental date begins.
The listing application fee is $50 per rental annually. You may list your property with us as many times as you wish for a period of one year for this fee.
Your listing will be removed if it is reported that your home is unsafe, unsanitary or has issues that hinder the peaceful enjoyment of the property.
Utilities include electricity, trash, water & sewer and wifi.
No deposits are required unless the guests have pets. Currently pet deposits are set at $100 per animal. You can decide to allow pets or not. Homes that allow pets rent faster. These pet deposits are non refundable.
You are responsible for cleaning your home before and after a guest uses it. We do not offer cleaning services.
You are responsible for your own insurance. We simply refer guests to your home that we have vetted and recommend. You take full responsibility for accepting them and communicating with them during their time in your home.
You can list your home from ANY neighborhood. We will do our best to promote it for you.
We inform our guests that there are No parties allowed. No large animals. No drug use or smoking inside the property. No discharging weapons or selling anything from the property.
You are required to provide a fully furnished home including towels, dishes, major appliances and a basic list of toiletries. Guests are asked to replenish toiletries at their own expense if they need to. You are doing them a favor and they understand this so guests will not be picky.
After you pay the listing application fee you will be contacted by our short term rental manager who will make an appointment to view your home, take photos and appraise it. If your property is ready to list, our rental manager will let you know how much you will earn from each short term rental and your property will be listed and promoted immediately. You will also undergo a background check. If there are violent offenses found in your background check or your property is not suitable for our rental program you will not be allowed to rent through our program. Your listing application fee is non refundable.
